Baryon production in the quantized fragmentation of helical QCD string
نویسندگان
چکیده
Baryon production is studied within the framework of quantized fragmentation a QCD string. Baryons appear in model fairly intuitive way, with help causally connected string breakups. A simple helical approximation flux tube parameters constrained by mass spectrum light mesons sufficient to reproduce masses baryons.

Baryon Production in the String Fragmentation Picture
An improved version of the “pop-corn” model for baryon production in quark and gluon jets is presented. With a reduced number of parameters the model reproduces well both production rates for different baryon species and baryon momentum distributions. Predictions are presented for a set of baryon-antibaryon correlations. e-mail [email protected] e-mail [email protected]
متن کاملBaryon magnetic moments in the QCD string approach
Magnetic moments of baryons composed of light and strange quarks are computed for the first time through the only parameter of the model– string tension σ. For example, µ p = m p /c √ σ, µ Ω − = −µ p (1 + 3 4 m 2 s c 2 σ − 15 32 m 4 s c 4 σ 2) −1 , where m p is the proton mass, m s is the strange quark current mass, c = 0.957 – a constant which is caluculated in the paper. Resulting theoretical...
متن کاملMagnetic moment of ∆ baryon in QCD string approach
Magnetic moments (m.m.) of the ∆++ baryons is computed within the new approach based on the QCD string Hamiltonian. The string tension σ is only dimensionful quantity forming m.m. of both nucleon and ∆++, but color Coulomb and spin-spin interactions cancel each other in nucleon m.m. while in ∆++ they add coherently. The result μ∆++ = 4.36μN is in good agreement with experimental data. Recently ...

متن کاملfaciliting lexical access for the fluent production of speech
the hypothesis is that recent and frequent exposure to lexical items leads to a more fluent production of speech in terms of rate of speech. to test the hypothesis,a one-way anova experimental design was carried out. 24 sednior students of efl participated in a one-way interview test. data analyses revealed that those who were exposed frequently to the lexical items over a week prior to inter...
